This is a great logistics tool. The data analytics portion of the SaaS solution is somewhat light and the out of box reporting is at times not relevant to the report. This requires heavy customization as an enhancement and can get very pricey if the reporting module is not vetted prior to implementation.
In my opinion, No Never! Invoice 1PD4896 My experience has been extremly bad and i can't say I will ever use this company ever again as I've learned my lesson. paid for a service had the worst experience ever and now there are extra charges? When you give someone a 5hr window for pickup and they don't show, then the pickup party has to find transporation to get the shipment to the carrier! not to mention it was a 3 day delivery that took a week. Then it arrives and now everyone wants to charge for extras? After the fact? Is that a good experience? I ask? I really should be compensated for all the inconveneince, this has been a bit of problem worrying about wether this shippment was going to make it to me and the other party worry if he was going to delivery is across the country himself! But, no there is no compensation and you need to pay the balance. WOW, this is how you treat a new customer. This is only the start of my reivews as I will share this on to many platforms as I,mmad about this company not understanding where the customer is coming from given this experience of this shippment. If you want the email chain I am more that happy to show how no one is willing to take care of this matter! This is the most rediculoius situation to be in ever and I'll make sure this compnany never get the business again. Thanks for a Unique experience!
JDA WMS is a pricy solution compared to other WMS vendors. Perhaps they should offer "lighter" versions for smaller customers.
JDA acquired RedPrairie a few years ago, and in doing so, has lost some of their "small company" support and customer care.
Although integration and label printing are strong features of JDA WMS, they require expertise to set up. It would be nice if those aspects of the system were easier to manage.
The support team is overseas and the time zone differences can delay reactivity. The development team appears to overturn annually causing gaps in understanding of pending deliverables. There is also a learning curve that impedes expedited delivery of requested enhancements.
JDA WMS was a large step up from our legacy Infor solution. It filled many gaps that we couldn't fill with Infor's system. Rather than continuing to build solutions in-house to account for customer requirements, we decided to implement JDA WMS and use all of that system's capabilities to handled what we needed in our warehouses. Granted, Infor's solutions have probably improved since 2007 when we changed, but those were my experiences back when we changed WMS providers.
J.B Hunt has a host of processes and systems and is offering solutions at a huge scale. The market value, word of mouth and first impression of the solution provided is such that it compels the user to atleast utilize the software once. This is one defining moment where you actually convert into a prominent user of the software. The technology and experience combined into 1 results in a favorable instrument or application which in my opinion is J.B Hunt.
