BeyondTrust Privileged Identity (Legacy) vs. KeePass

Works great in a Wiindows/Linux environments. Easy to roll out and especially easy to update. Account manager stays in touch often. Monthly training on the product is a plus.

• Manage local accounts of workstations and servers.
• The web interface is easy for users of RED to use.
• The shared password list is a very nice feature that allows users to store credentials that have to remain static.

• Very secure - no worries about our passwords being stored insecurely or in the wrong place.
• Easy to share access to passwords used company-wide.
• Integrates with Chrome and other browsers for ease of use and speed.
• Price - free to use.

• Not as slick as CyberArk
• Training is free, but could use a lot of improvement
• Documentation needs refinement

My very good experience in the past 15 years of usage of KeePass makes it easy to decide for a renewal of this friendship. I was never disappointed and KeePass always meets my expectations. The software runs stable and if there should be a software error, it will be fixed in no time. This is customer satisfaction.

CyberARK is superior in every way. Lieberman RED was selected by upper management without consulting with technical employees

• Lower cost than competitors
• Ease of usr means easy to get staff up to speed on the product
• Very painless rollout, meaning less time troubleshooting issues

• Positive. All of our usernames and passwords for service accounts are in one convenient location.
• Positive. The ability to organize everything into separate locations/folders is great.
• Positive. Password generator makes it easy for us to generate a secure password for our accounts.
