BeyondTrust Privileged Identity (Legacy) vs. Dashlane Password Manager

Works great in a Wiindows/Linux environments. Easy to roll out and especially easy to update. Account manager stays in touch often. Monthly training on the product is a plus.

• Manage local accounts of workstations and servers.
• The web interface is easy for users of RED to use.
• The shared password list is a very nice feature that allows users to store credentials that have to remain static.

• Reliable autofill on most websites
• Robust features in both the Admin and personal user sense
• Multiple convenient options for unlocking that don't require retyping the master pass on a regularly used and trusted device
• Extensive customization options in both the Admin panel and user settings

• Not as slick as CyberArk
• Training is free, but could use a lot of improvement
• Documentation needs refinement

• Search is lacking. The desktop app had better features
• I can no longer find needed features. Such as the option to only use a password on a specific subdomain. this is important because I have hundreds of subdomains for testing client software builds before releasing to their domain.
• The Mobile app and Browser Extension are not synced. I have several Secure Notes and Passwords that I cannot find anywhere in my mobile app, but can find without issues in the extension.

It has served us very well until now and at the pricepoint it doesn't make us second guess our current relationship.

Dashlane Password Manager is great for the price. Some feature sets of competitors are lacking, but I'm happy with what we get for the spend. We are a small enough company that I can walk people through the steps, and it isn't something that comes up enough to complain about. Password generation, storage and use are all great.

We've had no issues with Dashlane. I can't speak to their customer service because I have not personally needed to contact them. I guess that speaks about their product if we've not had any issues to reach out about. Great for supporting data/information on multiple platforms that are shared among team members.

CyberARK is superior in every way. Lieberman RED was selected by upper management without consulting with technical employees

• Lower cost than competitors
• Ease of usr means easy to get staff up to speed on the product
• Very painless rollout, meaning less time troubleshooting issues
