It is well suited to get a snapshot of your current investor ownership and the ownership changes that are currently happening in your stock. It is also good as a platform in which you can update all your meetings and engagement and then search for the information in a very easy way.

  • Interface - the current dashboard is very "old" looking and could see improvement.
  • Ease of use - the email distribution could be easier to navigate.
  • Updating of investor contacts - the database is sometimes stale.

  • The scope and depth of the collected data can be increased.
  • The UI with little icons and buttons may be difficult at first but may become intuitive. The UI isn't horrible but might be better.
  • Global data coverage, but US and UK markets have the greatest details. MENA and APAC lack.

We had Capital IQ in addition to Bloomberg. It was much easier for a new person to use Capital IQ than Bloomberg. The ease of use was a huge selling point for us. Yahoo finance on the other hand is free, but you cannot gather all the data you may need in one location like you can in Capital IQ.
