AVEVA Work Tasks vs. CMW Platform

Anything where form input is required, data presentation and custom interface screens, connected to a database or API backend. Also good at process orchestration, where tasks need to be allocated and completed as part of a workflow, it supports delegation and escalation. It does fit well tieing together other AVEVA products.

CMW has less integration capabilities, this is something that can definitely be improved in the future. On a side note, the MS Outlook integration option is excellent. The UI is decent for its purpose and the platform is well suited for a range of business requirements - customer order management, document tracking and approval management. You name it, they have it.

• Graphical workflow builder capability makes it easy to set workflow in form of spreadsheets to improve visibility.
• Workflow automation in the cloud unifies tasks, documents and resources in real-time.
• Integration with outlook makes it easy to manage workloads direct to the email.

• Workflow editor user interface, a little clunky and has a learning curve
• Permissions model is complex
• Themes and corporate branding requires detailed css
• Upgrades require very thorough testing of developed artefacts

• I would like to see Comindware Tracker come in a free pricing tier.
• I would like to see Comindware Tracker offer more granular roles to be assigned to workflow users.
• I would like to see Comindware Tracker integrate with more ERP systems and to offer more import/export/migration capabilities from other workflow management systems.

The features and capability is very good, but there is a learning curve to develop within it. It does take some effort to become proficient and build forms and workflows, however once deployed and running they are extremely reliable. The mobile application is quite good but best suited to be on an on-prem network rather than internet facing.

As I mentioned in my whole review that it is making opration smoother it's capabilities to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual errors,and improve productivity.Its low code approach allows us to create business apps quickly and easily without requiring extensibe programming knowledge.although it has lots of positive points but there are some issues which is barrier to become perfect that's why I give 8

It's more of drag and drop functionality. It is quite easy to set up. Creation of form is very easy. Support Team of Comindware Tracker is good and very friendly. It is efficient in terms of task management, project management, team management, vendor/client tracking.

Power Apps is good for microsoft, and basic forms, Work Tasks is more powerful. Other middleware is better for pure data integration but doesnt enable user interaction. There are some other options, Redhat has a similar product as well but it wasnt as mature when we were evaluating.

Other than trying Comindware Tracker it is newer to me, I have used Adobe software multiple times and are familiar with their products. I won't stack Comindware Tracker against them because they both are amazing. I like using Comindware tracker because it is easy to use and is great for me, it helps optimize and maintain my workflows.

• We have built our entire EOM reconciliation process for production management, this is not possible without Work Tasks
• We have complete standalone processes and applications built in Work Tasks, where complex steps and integrations are required. It is faster and cheaper than multiple bespoke products
• The API integration has allowed us to tie applications together where user input is required and middleware doesnt quite work
