Avast Business is great to keep your business secure of virus/threads, is easy to install and use. I recommend digging around the options menu in order to get the best setup for your business. It is well suited in places or scenarios where a VPN client is needed to be used either by IT staff or other employees. SonicWall's VPN Clients are very similar to VPN clients of other companies. SonicWall VPN Clients are meant to be used with SonicWall firewalls.

SonicWall VPN Clients work for the most part. The Global VPN client has had its issues over the years. Also, NetExtender VPN client has had its share of issues. It is nice that SonicWall VPN Clients has updated the GUI of the NetExtender client within the last year, which has made it easier for our users to use.

I gave this rating because after using this fantastic product. Everything is under my control and also all my databases are secure enough and also quite convenient to be managed. Thus, it’s a really good application in each and every regard that totally supports me in the best way.

Phone support has been very reliable and useful, but there have been times when better support documentation would have made that call unnecessary. I like to tackle problems internally if I can, as it tends to save time and usually money. The SonicWall VPN Clients system seems to be pretty locked down as far as being accessible to self-manage.

First of all, Norton was a much pricier tool and it was like
self-sabotage for us. And if I'll compare it with Avast then Avast is the best
option. Second of all, Norton was quite heavy for some of our systems of
various departments. And we needed a single tool that we can implement in all
of our departments and Norton was unfortunately not what we were looking for.

We started the process of vetting Norton VPN, but since it wasn't available from our preferred vendor, we ended up going with SonicWall VPN Clients by default.

• We pay about $20/endpoint/year which includes servers and all other devices plus the remote access and cloud portal management. For a Pro class service that's peanuts.
• As stated, I haven't had anything slip through, though I can say that we are super careful to not let anything through. Could be either, but I feel safer as an IT person that Avast is in place.
• The solution is priced right, runs well, is cloud-based and makes for very low management. Can't complain about it at all.

• ROI is difficult to determine because of the minimal initial cost; that said, now that we've experienced the benefits of having secure VPN access, we couldn't imagine not having it.
• Users have much greater flexibility now that specific legacy systems are accessible from places other than the office.
