You can see data like DAU, MAU, ARPU, market leaders, SDKs, geographics, analytics. Literally anything you would want to know about mobile apps or the market and technology around them, you can get with Apptopia.

It is the best tool to understand the potential volume of keywords in the market and track your keywords ranking and competitors' keywords ranking. It is not so good for market research as downloads and revenue, but the company is working on it with their Market Intelligence tool. I tried it but didn't explore it fully.

• Some of the data seemed inconsistent when we checked with existing partners.
• The lack of prospecting tool. Apptopia did not provide detailed contact info for companies.
• Apptopia provided revenue data for mobile apps, but we found there was inconsistency with that as well.

• The ranking history graph isn't that great looking
• Our data is also tracked by competitors using this tool.
• Pricing of the tool can be worked upon as its costly.

We initially went to Datanyze for email hunting and list building. As we learned more about the feature they offer we realized their data was not as accurate as we needed. During our evaluation of the product there were lots of promises of Beta features or things in the future and not a ton of focus or confidence in what they offered currently. We did leverage and benefit from Datanyze for a decent amount of time, but when we evaluated a side by side comparison, Apptopia came out on top. Datanyze is a little different where they can pull lists of contacts, but at the end of the day we saw App data more important than those lists

I prefer AppTweak with simple UI and accurate estimates for keywords, and easy navigation, and it fulfills all my expectations.

• Overall was poor ROI. It was not cheap and did not bring much value.
• Reports seemed to be good at first but later found lots of inaccuracies
• Could not find information on premium publishers
