AnyDoc vs. REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture)

AnyDoc is well suits for managing data and transcription of documents from any kind of format. Particularly, extracting data or entries from production machine to warehouse stock, inflow and outflow of goods from and to warehouse etc. this software if very efficient. Using Optical character recognition feature, this software extracts data from any document and can be used to maintain data entries and transformation of the records. This software is less usable for storage of data or to access data from anywhere. Also security features can be improved to minimize risk of data loss or data leackage.

Our main use has been for research studies. It allows HIPPA compliant data collection with a vast amount of customization options, branching logic to keep collection clean, and validation to ensure data collected can easily be analyzed. We can send surveys to participants in between visits and use forms for in person visits where a staff member is collecting the information

• REDCap is generally the best app for public health and clinical trials for both the academia and for-profit organization. However it is poorly marketed much effort is placed on the academia side though organizations like the pharmaceuticals, hospitals, insurance etc., would be willing especially when they get hear about it.
• REDCap needs to work on the user interface. It's kinda boring especially when designing surveys and when navigating for surveys
• The FAQ must be shortened , sometimes the videos associated with FAQ seem long.

It is very interesting to me especially that it meets all my needs. The libraries makes the job even much easier, since you can just make a few adjustments to the appropriate template chosen

Also AnyDoc’s Optical character recognition is very efficient over other software for the recognition of the documents and transcription of the data. This helps to manage in day to day operations in very efficient and convenient way. Also, AnyDoc is found to be more accurate and reliable tool for the data management and scanning. AnyDoc can accurately and effectively deliver data to accounting software and other applications that is an advantage of it over other platforms.
