It is great for those travelers looking for longer-term accommodations, such as greater than a week or a few weeks. For those staying for only a day or two, it can still be useful, but a hotel may be more appropriate for these kinds of stays. Moreover, many of our travelers like the ability to have a full apartment due to the nature of their stay or the length, and thus using this allows us this added flexibility in finding accommodations with this.

Sabre GetThere is well suited for the travel counselor to make reservations for airfare, rail, hotels, and car. The system is easy to use and simple. By using click and point an agent with basic knowledge can book reservations with ease. The travel counselor who likes to not use the click and point may not find all the available options and could miss out.

Cons
  • Too many listings.
  • A lot of filters (could be good to have preset saved filters that the traveler always wants).
  • Wishlists include listings that may be already booked, so I don't want to see those.

  • Make transfer between manual and click and point

Usability
The user interface is very user friendly. It makes it easy to filter through the different options it has to offer based on price, location, and the scenery you as the customer would most prefer. This is an extremely helpful feature when there are so many choices to choose from

Alternatives Considered
Airbnb for Work is very useful for any city. Our practicality of staying where we want is excellent, it really helps us a lot and I'm sure it has already "saved" several people who made last minute reservations, just like me hahaha. We have other platforms that can also help us, but we have a certain preference for Airbnb.

Sabre is the main source of my booking tools. It comes as an easy-to-use reservation system. The online booking tool is simple and very user-friendly. Travel port does also have booking tools but some are not as easy to just click your option and go. The system has tools but can cause the user to use the longer format to get to the same location which slows down the booking process.

Return on Investment
  • It has helped our organization to save costs since one place can accommodate many co-workers rather than booking rooms for only two people where the team travels in a group.
  • Better deals are available if you are regular customer
  • Upgrade options are available which help save money rather than buying a premium suite
