ADP Health Compliance vs. Benefitsolver

ADP Health Compliance is useful for employers to stay compliant with ACA Rules & Regs. I think it would be impossible to manage as a large employer without it. The tool gives us specific action items and employees to review. This helps reduce the mindless navigation to get to important areas. It also outlines potential penalty exposure and other "needs attention" items that are critical to know.

Incentivized

• The ability to breakdown the data into segments allows us to zero in on errors or problems that we can focus on in order to correct those issues.
• The information is presented in an easy to understand interface which is very user-friendly and very intuitive. I have used the interface in the past to change data or approvals of forms. It was something I could figure out on my own due to it being so easy to navigate.
• ADP Compliance is very good at pulling in the data and identifying issues and presenting it in method that is easy to work off of. We have many employees and the files we sent over were uploaded and processed. The errors were quickly identified so we could focus on correcting the problem employees.

• Too complicated, too many screens and sections
• LOA list is great, just needs ability to filter out termed EEs and by date range
• More interaction and automation with Workforce Now, EEs approved in Health Compliance are not automatically updated or assigned an enrollment workflow in WFN

Before using ADP Health Compliance, I used Paylocity's ACA tool while working for them. I'll be honest - Paylocity leads in design and innovation. They were using complex systems far before ADP had them. When we started using the ADP Smart Compliance system, we were expected to review massive spreadsheets as the system was not available. However, ADP got with the program and was able to produce a system that is actually very advanced.

• Definitely reduced manual work for annual reporting is huge! Before implementing Health Compliance I was dreading the hours and days that needed to be spent in January to prepare the 1095s. With ADP Health Compliance, it took less than two hours to review and submit the forms.
• The confidence that the tool is helping us stay in compliance and avoid penalties.
• Ability to access targeted data without running numerous reports.
