If you need enterprise-level flexibility to organize, design, orchestrate, and execute email communications, then Adobe Journey Optimizer is potentially a very well-suited tool. Sending a high volume of emails is easily accomplished, and targeting either a broad or very targeted audience is also relatively easy. Regardless of your specific circumstances, this "best-in-class" option is worth a look.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing is very well suited for situations where an organization wants to manage the customer information that it has gathered and share it all across the entire organization so that it is unified and integrated. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing is less suited to smaller organizations that do not have a need for such a complex marketing platform.

  • It doesn´t keep the last search you sis in the journeys and you have to enter the search parameter every time
  • there is a window of time during the day that the audiences give out errors and you can´t see the estimates
  • I should be able to select STO in campaigns, not only in journeys
  • I should be able to select the email parameters when using campaigns

  • Currently marketing is more contact centric, should add the flexibility of doing segmentation as well as customer journey on leads without associating with contact
  • Pricing is based on number of contact, even if you are not marketing all of them.
  • Cannot reuse the existing marketing lists created in CRM for marketing as seamlessly as in ClickDimensions, even though both uses the same Dataverse

Usability
Like I said before some things are very friendly user, But the majority of capabilities are very difficult to access and really understand. That´s why there is a need of big groups in order to work with Adobe Journey Optimizer because a few people not would be able to own and know all the Items.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing is extremely usable in order to manage all of my organization's customer information across the organization. Further we use Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing to manage all of our marketing campaigns from beginning to end. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing makes my organization more able to run a professional marketing strategy.

Alternatives Considered
Each of these products represents a legacy solution that has been replaced by AJO. AJO allows for all of these marketing functions to live within a single platfrom. While AJO has a learning curve that is steeper than working with individual vendors, it does allow for a consolidation of knowledge and the underlying data stack, so eventual efficiencies may be realized over time

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing is similar to ClickDimensions, as they both are tightly integrated with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement. ClickDimensions is more suitable for relatively small and mid sized organization. ClickDimensions provides the solution to be imported within the existing Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution, so easy for existing CRM users to use it, however this also creates a dependency. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing as a separate Unified Interface App, makes it better to use as a stand alone application for the department.

  • Multichannel onboarding journey improving the engagement of freshmen in the business, resulting in a decrease in the dropout rate.
  • Separate business of anticipation of receivables from suppliers that used to be manual and now I have connected this entire operation via the S3 connector, less manual work and significant gains in conversions and payments
