In my time using and assisting in the use of Study Island, I have seen teachers between K-5 grade use this program. Students in younger grades may find this program challenging to use independently, causing teachers to assist rather than use that time to work with another student simultaneously. Intermediate grade students can become bored with some of the games and lose interest. This program seems best suited from 1st to 4th grades.

I have used a couple of different study and learning tools, and Study Island is my favorite! Some of the things that make Study Island stand out are their easy to create assignments, easy to navigate activities (for students), and easy to grade/assess students. The platform is so colorful and fun for students and keeps them engaged!
