Acquirell vs. Precoro

It is most appropriate to utilize Acquirell for processing the purchase orders with vendors. If you don't want to onboard the vendors into the system you may easily generate the POs in PDF. Acquirell includes amazing capabilities for running RFI, RFQ, and RFP events. It is very easy to manage purchase requisitions in a single system. Also, the tool is a good fit to manage the complex approval workflow. It is less appropriate to utilize Acquirell for managing contracts because instead of simply editing the text of the contract you should play with the configurations of the contract in the system and fill out various fields

Precoro is great if you need to keep your organization aware of where in the purchasing process an order is, and if you need a place to communicate about orders & keep a record of those communications. It does not work too well for a variety of purchasing requests - the process lacks complexity.

• The great Contract Management module lets us administrate the contracts easily

• Editing the catalog data is very easy. We can export/import it from Excel
• Comparing prices to make the right decisions
• Fast approvals with specific roles for colleagues
• Visual analytics and budget control for each department
• Ability to add as many custom fields as we need to cover all processes
• Real-time stock control and warehouse request creation right from the inventory module

• Cannot edit the text of the contracts in the Contract Management module just like we were editing it in MS Word
• Accounts Payable is out of scope
• The Supplier Management module is "just okay". Acquirell team should develop features

• For companies with more complex inventory needs, additional features in that area could be helpful.
• The mobile app is great for approvals, but it could support more features from the desktop version.
• Occasionally, loading reports with a large amount of data takes a few extra seconds.

It really helps us to handle almost all our procurement activities (except the CLM process)

Thanks [to] Precoro, we easily go through procurement workflow and manage all of our POs in a couple of minutes. We had a great experience with the Precoro team which helped us with installation of the software.

I haven't evaluated any other procurement solutions. Before implementing Acquirell we were using emails, Word, and Excel in our procurement processes. Overall, it is much more convenient to conduct procurement activities in Acquirell rather than to collect the bids via email and keep a bunch of Word or Excel files.

Precoro is unique because it can be customizable from start to finish without needing to build in API. It is extremely easy to use and understand, so we did not need to give our employees extensive training as we did with Tradogram. Precoro also allowed us to communicate about orders right within the order itself, where the other software did not.

• Now the purchasing team saves a lot of time
• The number of errors has been reduced due to elimination of manual workflow
• Now we do not have to keep a lot of Word, Excel, or PDF files since most of the procurement data is stored in Acquirell. Therefore the data does not get lost

• We can track each purchase order, who created it, and why. They are no longer lost, and we can always see the history. The dashboard allows us to monitor information about all essential documents and at what stage they are now and keep track of which invoices have not yet been paid or partially paid.
• By setting up budgets for each department, we can effectively plan the allocation and prevent overspending.
• The system is very flexible and convenient. I can't imagine my work without it.
