eimmigration is case management software built to help law practices and non-profits simplify immigration casework. Legal
professionals use it to save time, advance cases faster, streamline immigration forms, improve client communications, and
grow their practices. eimmigration is backed by Cerenade, a provider of legal software development, and informed by 30+
years of client feedback. The system includes tools to manage cases, forms, clients, and…
AbacusLaw allows the whole law firm to be on the same page with access to a community calendar, billing, etc. It is a bit of a bummer that you need to put significant time into training to understand how to use AbacusLaw fully and get the most out of it. I wish there were quicker and easier ways to train and let people know about new additions
For our organization the use of eIMMIGRATION is essential. We are not only required to report quarterly information but also yearly information. In addition, we have to create different types of reports according to the requests of the development department or the current funders. Non-profit organizations' sustainability is based on the ability to report accurately and on time.
SUPPORT STINKS - As of today we have been having issues for OVER 3 MONTHS, but Abacus now only has ONE Tier II tech, and ONE Tier III tech and neither one have figured out our problem or fixed it!
Having a lot of issues since day one
We have a self-hosted version and are not on the cloud and the updates usually bring other issues. They don't know the term "if its not broke don't fix it."
The support is generally good and relatively quick BUT when there is a new product or something they want you to buy, I have felt a bit harassed at that point by sales but when I have an issue I don't feel like support jumps on it as quick.
I did not evaluate MyCase when we selected AbacusLaw. I did not select AbacusLaw and was not involved at that time in the decision. I am evaluating MyCase NOW to REPLACE AbacusLaw.
I also have tried Docketwise, and although both software share similar features, Cerenade excels on the forms. Suppose you wish to manually edit or impute data in the forms to fill in blanks or annotate something besides the automatically generated data. In that case, the experience with Cerenade is much more intuitive and smoother than Docketwise to edit and transfer the new information to the compilation of forms throughout the platform.
I understand that choosing software is a question of preference. If you still are not using Cerenade, you will benefit from it if you schedule a free demonstration and try the software for yourself.
