24SevenOffice vs. EPM Live

I would say if you have a staff that's already experienced in the 24SevenOffice program that would be best. People who are brand new to it will have too much time ramping up and training. Also, you'd better have a rock-solid network infrastructure if you want success with this program. A business with less tech-savvy workers just wouldn't work.

I think EPM Live might be the right solution for a much smaller company, who does mainly business to business material sales. As a software company with a ramped subscription model and heavy use of Salesforce, it was not well suited to our business.

• Excellent UI that is easy to use. All features are a breeze.
• Because of the depth at which it has data, it can be used very well.
• Its integration with other ERP software is also possible for better analysis.

• Fantastic project management features
• Cost and Resource management features more than paid for the software
• Social Collaboration tools improve communication between departments

• Unfortunately, usability is a major issue at times. I hear complaints about dropped network traffic, and it's not our infrastructure.
• The interface is confusing. We have to train new employees with a lot of detailed instructions which shouldn't be necessary.
• We have had to pay for any support on the above issues.

• This is a solid product. I do not have any suggested changes based on our experience. Cannot understand why there are any negative reviews here. The reviewer(s) must not have given the product a fair chance.

The product is just not fitting our needs so we are looking at other alternatives. The system has gone down 3 times in the last 6 months and was down for at least half a day, timesheets have duplicate tasks, and it takes too long to save and submit. When trying to process updates it randomly changes our dates so we have to go back and fix them, sometimes tasks are lost and the system is just very confusing and hard to manipulate

24SevenOffice has its own pros and cons just like any other software. It is a great software for an organization to do project management or financial management. It stacks up very competitively against others and is probably in the top 3. the UI that is offered by this software surpasses all the others that I have used and/or mentioned above. It is a breeze to understand most parts of the software by yourself. I think in terms of support there could be some improvement that can be possible and will result in much better feedback from its clients. Overall I give it a great rating in terms of usability and capability to handle the majority of business management, project management, and financial management features.

EPM was easier to use, with better and simpler UI. The product was also a great combination of price and functionality compared to other tools

• We were using a fairly similar program from an ROI perspective previously so I can't say it's had a big effect.
• That said the network issues represent lost hours/money.
• The added training is also expensive.
