20 Miles vs. Showpad eOS®

Fileboard is great for all sizes of sales organizations and very useful for those utilizing Salesforce. Their pricing is more affordable than competitors and their people are less pushy. My advice would be to demo the product and see if it fits your needs before looking at the more established and expensive competitors.

Any person who is interested in understanding the level of engagement from a client needs Showpad. It is a must-have software if you have people within your organization that are customer-facing. If your role is primarily communicating with employees within your own organization, then this software might not be as useful to you. For those in sales, account management, or who needs to know if your recipient has seen your emails/content, this is a useful tool.

• Excellent tracking of email and alert notifications
• Great sales analytics that helped forecasting
• The live demo function was extremely helpful
• Tight integration into Salesforce

• User-Friendly. The ability to easily customize to fit your needs
• Delivering content easily and quickly, reducing cost for print, and out of date information
• Reporting. Providing the analytical function to track what content has been utilized or not utilized and become more efficient in the type of information you share
• Offline Use. The ability to be able to view content offline

• My experience with Fileboard has been less than ideal after making the switch from a very similar product. Our sales team as well as our operations team has experienced a number of stability issues on calls with our prospective customers to the point that we are looking for alternative solutions before our contract with fileboard has even expired.
• I received more complaints from my team in 6 months using Fileboard than 2 years using a competing product.
• We attempted to part ways mid contract and request a refund for unused access but were rejected and accused of blackmail after I provided two possible outcomes to our situation. One being private resolution and parting ways and second being an honest assessment of my experience with Fileboard and wishing we had stuck with the slightly more expensive solution.

• Version control is an issue. Would be nice to go back to previous versions of a file.
• The in-app viewing experience feels a little rigid. Prefer to download the files before viewing.
• The main landing page is a little more cluttered than I would like.

Great sales tool especially because we didn't know we needed it... its helped us increase our performance which is ALWAYS important!

I have not been involved with support from Showpad so I am not entirely sure. However, we have received some emails from our help desk about an outage and it seems like it didn't last very long so I would say that it was pretty effective support to that extent.

Fileboard has tighter integration into Salesforce and is less expensive. ClearSlide has a few more bells and whistles that may or may not be needed for your environment.

The only option our company used was cloud-based file-sharing services (Box, Dropbox, etc) and emails like Outlook or Gmail. Both options make it hard for version control and for ease of navigation. Generally, end-users had an easier time finding content on Showpad.

• Decreased sales time based on us know what content our prospects were/weren't looking
• Increased opportunity pipeline
• Improved our forecasting abilities.

• We are not limited by what physical catalogs and literature we get - we can send out any piece of literature to a customer.
• All of our content is centralized in one place.
• Our marketing department has the ability to view what content is shared the most and viewed the most, so they can focus on those items.
• Gives our sales reps visibility into what our customers are looking at.
